さて今回はワードプレスのプラグインの自動化ができるプラグインのご紹介です。自動で常に最新の状態に保つことが出来るのでとても便利です。

しかし、いろいろサーバーに入れたのですがどうもサーバーによってはこのプラグインの意味をなさないというか自動更新をしてくれません。

おそらくセキュリティー上の問題だと思われます。使えるサーバーだと恩恵を受けると思いますので一応使い方などをご紹介いたします。

Easy Updates Managerの使い方

ワードプレスのプラグイン検索でEasy Updates Managerを入力してプラグインをインストールします。

有効化するとダッシュボード内のUpdateOptionsという項目がありますのでそこで設定をします。全文英語ですがgoogle翻訳を載せます。

Generalタブ

一般設定になります。

Disable all updates （すべての更新を無効にする）

This is a master switch and will enable or disable updates for the WordPress installation. Switching updates off is not recommended.

これはマスタースイッチで、WordPressインストールの更新を有効または無効にします。 アップデートをオフにすることはお勧めしません。

Automatic updates （自動更新）

These options will enable or disable automatic updates (background updates) of certain parts of WordPress. Select Custom for more flexibility. Leave as Default to allow WordPress to decide (currently that means automatic updates for minor releases of WordPress core, and no others).

これらのオプションは、WordPressの特定の部分の自動更新（バックグラウンド更新）を有効または無効にします。 柔軟性を高めるためにカスタムを選択してください。 既定値のままにしておくと、WordPressが決定できます（現在、WordPressコアのマイナーリリースの自動更新を意味します）。

WordPress core updates （ワードプレスのコアアップデート）

This allows you to disable or enable all core updates, including automatic updates.

これにより、自動更新を含むすべてのコア更新を無効または有効にすることができます。

** Plugin updates （プラグインの更新）**

This allows you to disable or enable all plugin updates. Disabling this option will also disable automatic updates.

Theme updates （テーマの更新）

This allows you to disable or enable all theme updates. Disabling this option will also disable automatic updates.

Logs ログ

Logs will show you what assets have updated and will show up in the Logs tab.

Core notification e-mails （コア通知電子メール）

WordPress periodically sends update notification e-mails, such as in the case of automatic updates. By default, the email address used is the one in Settings->General, but you can override this below.

WordPressは、自動更新の場合など、定期的に更新通知電子メールを送信します。 デフォルトでは、[設定] - > [一般]のメールアドレスが使用されていますが、下記の設定でこれを上書きすることができます。更新されたらメールでお知らせ

Browser nag （ブラウザナグ） Enables or disables the browser nag in the dashboard for logged-in users using older browsers.

古いブラウザを使用してログインしているユーザのダッシュボード内のブラウザのnagを有効または無効にします。

WordPress version in the dashboard footer （ダッシュボードフッターのWordPressバージョン）

Enables or disables the WordPress version from showing in the footer of the dashboard.

WordPressバージョンがダッシュボードのフッターに表示されるのを有効または無効にします。

Pluginタブ

各プラグインをアップデートをさせるタブになります。個別に対応できます。

Themesタブ

プラグインと同様で各テーマアップデートをさせるかどうかを設定できます。

Logsタブ

ログが残せるようですが使っていないのでわかりません。。。

Advacedタブ

Exclude Users （ユーザーを除外する）

Select users who will be forbidden to access the settings of this plugin. This option is useful if, for example, you would like to disable updates, but have a user account that can still update WordPress.

このプラグインの設定にアクセスすることを禁止されるユーザーを選択します。このオプションは、たとえば、更新を無効にしたいが、WordPressを更新できるユーザーアカウントを持っている場合に便利です。

Force automatic updates （自動更新を強制する）

Force Updates will request automatic updates of your plugins, core, themes, and translations immediately. This is useful for debugging and checking that automatic updates are working as intended. By default, WordPress checks for updates every 12 hours. Running Force Updates will, if successful, cause updates to happen immediately.

Force Updatesはプラグイン、コア、テーマ、および翻訳の自動アップデートを直ちに要求します。これは、自動アップデートが意図したとおりに動作していることをデバッグしてチェックするのに便利です。 デフォルトでは、WordPressは12時間ごとに更新をチェックします。Force Updatesを実行すると、正常に更新された場合、直ちに更新が実行されます。

Disable/enable the Easy Updates Manager admin bar menu （Easy Updates Managerの管理バーメニューを無効/有効にする）

The Easy Updates Manager admin bar displays at the top of your installation and allows quick actions to Easy Updates Manager options such as logs and advanced options.

Easy Updates Managerの管理バーは、インストールの最上部に表示され、ログや詳細オプションなどのEasy Updates Managerオプションへの迅速な対応が可能です。

Reset options （リセットオプション）

This will reset all options to as if you have just installed the plugin. WARNING!: This also disables and clears the logs.

これはプラグインをインストールしたばかりのようにすべてのオプションをリセットします。警告！これにより、ログが無効になり、ログがクリアされます。

Premiumタブ

有料のプランになります。

特定のサーバーしか使えないかと思いますが、アップデートをすぐさま自動で行ってくれるのはうれしい限りです。 しかし、アップデート失敗する可能性もありますので注意が必要です。

このプラグインを開発しているチームは割と有名なプラグインを出していますので信頼度はあります。よく使わせてもらっているプラグインばかりですね。
